Redmi Note 13 India launch expected soon as phone gets BIS certification, all you need to know

Acouple of days back, Xiaomi had announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 13 series in China. The phone will be hitting the China market tomorrow, September 21. Ahead of the phone's debut in China, speculations about its India launch have also started surfacing. Reportedly, the Redmi Note 13 series will contain three models - the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. However, these are mere rumours at this point and more details about the phone will be known tomorrow, after the launch. As per a Twitter (now called X) user, the Redmi Note 13 was spotted on BIS listing, which means that it will be arriving in India soon. For the unversed, the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) is a regulatory organisation backed by the government of India. This organisation is responsible for ensuring the uniformity and standardization of products, services, processes, and systems across India. The BIS certification, therefore, is a guarantee that a product meets the Indian Standards for quality, safety, and reliability. Even though the BIS certification is voluntary, the government has made it mandatory for some products in public interest.
