IT will be collected to authenticate the Aadhaar number holder for providing e-KYC services to the customer at loan origination and disbursement.

5. Identity data including Aadhaar Number / Virtual ID will be collected to verify the Aadhaar Number holder for providing e-KYC services for customer onboarding and loan disbursal.

 

B. Minimization of data: Only sensitive personal data necessary for authorized business activities will be collected from the provider. Personal information must not be disclosed to anyone (including internal employees) who is not authorized to do so or who does not have a business "need to know" the information

 

C. 3. Data security linked to Aadhaar

 

a) The Aadhaar number will be collected through a secure application, transmitted over a secure channel as per UIDAI specifications and the identity information returned to UIDAI will be securely stored;

 

b) Biometric information, where applicable, is collected using registered devices specified by UIDAI. These devices encrypt the biometric information at the device level and the application sends it through a secure channel to the UIDAI for verification.

 

c) OTP information will be collected in a secure application and encrypted on the client device before being transmitted over a secure channel as per UIDAI specifications;

 

d) the Aadhaar number /VID submitted by the resident/customer/individual to the requesting entity and the PID block so generated shall not be retained in any case and the entity shall retain the parameters received in the response from the UIDAI;
